Creating Inner Peace
Meditation is being in tune with the Universe. And we are simply the Universe self-expressing itself. If everyone took up a meditation practice, imagine how much more kind and peaceful the world could be.

Why Meditation? Why Now?
We live in a very fast paced and plugged in world. Our minds are like computers with a hundred tabs open and we are constantly multitasking and living under very stressful circumstances. The last few years have proven that and have really brought to light that we as a collective need more of a focus on mental and emotional health.
Our physiological response has not changed much since our caveman days and this type of stress on the body in a chronic and constant state is not good.
Our minds can be the biggest culprits for our stress. It is important to remember that we cannot control anyone or anything but we can control our minds by controlling our breath and by doing so, we control our perceptions of reality as well as our responses vs reactions.
Stress is a normal human reaction that happens to everyone. In fact, the human body is designed to experience stress and react to it. When you experience changes or challenges (stressors), your body produces physical and mental responses. That’s stress.
The stress response can help your body adjust to new situations and stress can be positive, keeping us alert, motivated and ready to avoid danger. For example your stress response may get you out of danger or provide you with the motivation you need to study for an exam or presentation.
Stress becomes a problem when it is continued without periods of relief and relaxation. This is where daily meditation practice comes in!
